How i miss my good friend Bob!! Bob and Betty were my first close friends, and they both always called me their daughter.
I love to cook and bake, and they both loved to eat, so it was a perfect pairing. I loved running food up to them. And Bob was especially fond of my chocolate cherry dump cakes. I could make them up to twice a week for him.
I will always cherish my outdoor plant stands he made for me to keep the rabbits from eating them! I never knew how hungry they were.
I think of you most every day Bob, and I want everyone to know how much you and Betty loved each other...... i was always so glad that I got to witness how much you both loved and cared for each other. ... love like that is rare.
I will never forget either of you. God Bless.

Bob always lit up my day when he stopped by Volunteers of America - Western Nebraska. He nicknamed me "Rosie - the little redhead from Cincinnati". (I am not from Cincinnati, so do not know where that came from). His humor was infectious - such a caring man. I will miss him greatly. I regret not being able to attend his service today.

I have very fond memories of Bob when I was a little girl. He had that red curly hair and always a smile. He was a roller skate dancer and once took me to the roller rink and put me on his shoulders and twirled me around and around, skating so beautifully. As as kid, I thought he was the bomb. In the summer of 2016 Bob and Betty joined us at the Lake for dinner and a boat ride. He was still the same old Uncle Bob. My condolences to all who knew and loved Uncle Bob. Lizzie
