Tammy Kay Moore, 56, of Ogallala, died Thursday, November 23, 2017, in the Ogallala Community Hospital.
Tammy was born June 25, 1961, in Ogallala, the daughter of Rodney and Darlene (Luedke) Ford. She graduated from Big Springs High School in 1979.
She moved to Greeley, Colo. and was employed with the Cloverleaf Dog Track. Tammy returned to Ogallala in 1991 and worked as a bartender and waitress for several businesses. She worked for Paulsen Inc. from 1991 to 1996.
In 2010 she became employed with American Shizuki Corporation. Tammy was currently employed with Walmart.
Preceding her in death was her father Rodney Ford and her brother Rocky Ford.
Survivors include her mother Darlene "Tiny" Ford and a sister Heather Ford, both of Big Springs; two brothers Mick Humphrey of Naples, Flor. and Todd (Camille) Ford of Denver, Colo.; and special friend Clay Bloomberg of Ogallala.
The family chose cremation. The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Draucker Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Dickmander of the Brule St. Johns Lutheran Church officiating. Online condolences may be sent by signing the Guest Book. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend. A memorial has been established to the Ogallala Women of the Moose.
