Bradley D. Knaub, age 56, of Paxton, died Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln with his family at his side.
Brad was born December 24, 1965 in Fairbury, NE to Charles and Dianne (Russell) Knaub.
Brad attended Hershey Public Schools and graduated in 1984. Upon graduation he moved to Ogallala where he went to work for Dick Lindauer for a short time. He then worked for his grandfather Dale Russell and his uncle Bernard Beckius at Dale's Locker. Brad married LaVenda Foit in 2002 in Paxton where Brad worked for Peterson Farms. Sadly, Brad's muscular dystrophy progressed and he was unable to stay working in the agriculture field, but still enjoyed coaching baseball, watching football, attending rodeos and fishing.
He is survived by his mother; Dianne (Orv) Wiberg of Ord, two sons; KC Knaub of North Platte and Cory Knaub of Ash Fork, AZ, two sisters; Michelle Bancroft of Oklahoma City, OK and Mindy (Toby) Bellar of Norman, OK., 3 stepsisters; Kim (Roger) Newquist of Ord NE, Shara (Dave Phaler) Mellor of Maricopa, AZ, Chris (Mark) Blaha of Ord, NE, and aunt; Cheryl Beckius of Keystone, newphews; Blake Lothert, Dagan and Dalton Bellar, step nephews; Charlie Christianson, Nick and Alex Pinell and Greyson Bellar , and step nieces; Shana (Trent) LaChance, Justice Bellar and Addison Blaha, along with numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Charles in 2002 and grandparents, Jake and Helen Knaub and Dale and Ruth Russell.
Funeral Services will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church in Paxton with Pastor Mark Baldwin officiating.
Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 am until the time of Service at the Church.
Graveside Services will be Friday at 2:00 pm in the Ogallala Cemetery. A Memorial has been established to the Paxton United Methodist Church and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
