Obituary
Carrie Anne Simmerman, 45, of North Platte, passed away July 13, 2022 at Azria Health in Sutherland. She was born on January 27, 1977 to Marvin and Donna (Bickett) Eide in Mitchell, S.D.
Carrie grew up in North Platte and attended North Platte High School. She also attended Mid-Plains Community College where she received an associate degree. Carrie worked as a home health care aide for several years. She had a passion for caring for people who struggled with disabilities. She loved the outdoors and very much enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Carrie was a bright spirit and made the most out of life while she could.
Surviving her are three children, Dalton Simmerman of Colorado Springs, CO, Alexandria “Alex” Simmerman of Ogallala, Shane Simmerman of Ogallala; brothers, Travis (Paula) Eide of Grand Island, Jay (Angela) Eide of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Laura Dilley of Omaha; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Marvin and Donna; grandparents.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Services will be held at Draucker Funeral Home on Monday, July 18th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
