Glenn Hahn Obituary

Glenn Edward Hahn, 90, of Ogallala, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Indian Hills Manor.
Glenn was born February 3, 1932 at home in Roscoe, NE, the son of William Hahn and Ethel (Watson) Hahn. Glenn attended and graduated from Ogallala High School in 1949.
After graduating High School Glenn married Marilyn Thomas on September 30, 1950 at  St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ogallala, NE.
Glenn and Marilyn moved to Lakewood Colorado where he owned and operated a bar in Golden.  He later sold the bar and then worked as a liquor sales representative, followed by transporting new vehicles for an auto dealership, and then delivering supplies for Franzen Plumbing Company when he retired.  
After retirement he enjoyed supervising and helping his son Kevin in his many home remodeling projects around the Denver area. When Kevin and his wife Bonnie purchased Admiral’s Cove Resort at Lake McConaughy he was a great help to them with renovating the Resort and then continued to assist in the operation of the Bait Shop, Restaurant, and Motel, he enjoyed meeting and visiting with all the guests at the Resort and lake goers.
In 2007 the Hahn’s moved to Ogallala. Glenn was a member of St. Paul’s Luther Church, Ogallala Moose Lodge and the Ogallala Elks Lodge. His hobbies included playing cards and taking long drives with his wife. He was an avid sports enthusiast.
Glenn is survived by his son Kevin and wife Bonnie of Sheridan Wyoming, his grandchildren Cody (Anna) Hahn, Kylee (Hunter)Hahn,  sister Jacque Cunningham of Ogallala, sister in-law LaDonna Thomas of Newcastle NE and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Marilyn (Thomas), and his parents William & Ethel Hahn.
The family chose cremation. The memorial service will held at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 24th, 2022 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ogallala with Rev. John Stubenrouch officiating.   

  Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to honor Glenn’s memory at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
