Janice E. Roche

Janice Elizabeth Roche, age 60, of Ogallala, Nebraska, passed away on  Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron, NE.  

Beloved daughter, sister and aunt, Janice was always quick to help whether it be an abandoned animal or a person in need. Janice was born July 22, 1961 in Hempstead, Long Island, NY to Robert and Joyce (Tinaro) Roche. She attended school at Wantagh High School graduating with the Class of 1979. She then attended Farmingdale Agricultural and Tech College and obtained an associates degree. A long time volunteer at the Wantaugh animal shelter, she spent many a day helping to make life a little easier for neglected and stray animals.

Janice moved to Ogallala with her mother Joyce in 2006. Both enjoyed and loved their time in Ogallala. Janice spent the last 2 1/2 years at Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron NE and we shall be forever in the debt to the staff there for their kindness, generosity and patience. We would also like to thank the people as AseraCare Hospice for all their help, concern and kindness during Janice's illness. We are forever grateful to all who cared for Janice and who were part of her daily life. Janice died peacefully and now sits comfortably in God's loving arms. She will be missed by all who know her. 
 
 Janice is survived by her brothers, Robert (Chery) William Roche, Jr.of Ogallala,; Frank (Sandy) Roche of Wantagh New York, nieces and nephews Michael (Nichole) Roche of Hildreth Nebraska; Elizabeth Roche and significant other Grant Hibbard of Westminster Colorado; Jeffrey Roche,  Alexandria (Michael) Prisco and 2 great nieces.

Family Services will be held at a later date.
