John Bryant Obituary

John Paul Bryant Senior, 76, of Lemoyne, passed away on  May 13, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE.  
 
He was born on April 6, 1945 to Bernard Bryant and Wilhelmenia Barenberg at La Junta, CO. John moved often during his childhood - being a true military brat, as his father was an officer in the United States Air Force. Upon his father's retirement, they settled down in Arvada Colorado.

There he met his wife of 54 years, Carole Wise. To this union 2 children were born, John Jr. and Stacy.  John and Carole chose to raise their family in Arvada. John started his first career at Rocky Flats in 1966. At Rocky Flats John had various jobs including a janitor, chem. op, monitor, machinist and finishing his career as the plant trainer. He retired from Rocky Flats in 1995. He then helped start a family business, Signs By Tomorrow in 1997. He worked in the sign business until 2004. John worked various part time jobs before fully retiring at Lake McConaughey in 2009.

Over the years John had many, many, many hobbies and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially his grandkids!

John is survived by his wife Carole, son; John (Shawna) Bryant, Jr. of Ogallala, NE; daughter; Stacy (Michael) Blunn of Thornton, CO; sister, Ellen Hancock of Ft Worth, TX; three brothers; Nathan (Bonnie) Bryant, of  Denver Co; Chuck (Connie) Bryant, of Oklahoma City, OK; Jim Bryant, of Whitney TX; granddaughter, Kaylee (Tyler) Martinez, of Eugene OR; three grandsons, Jacob Blunn of FT Morgan, CO, Brandon Burch (Maggie Fisher) of Linsborg, KS, Justin Burch of Salina, KS;  and two great-grandchildren, AnnLea Martinez and Rory Fisher.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Wilma Murphy.
    
Memorial services will be held on June 26,2021, 11:00 AM at the Sandhill Fellowship 752 NE Hwy 92; Lemoyne NE; with Loy Bauman and Tyler Martinez officiating.
 
Memorials are suggested to the Lemoyne Senior Center or charity of your choice.
