Kandi K. Carlyle

Kandi K. Carlyle, age 55, of Grand Island, NE, passed away, July 1, 2019, at her home in Grand Island due to natural causes.

Kandi was born on October 19, 1963 at Sutherland, to Chalmer Kramer and Dorlis (Darlene) Pueppka.

Kandi attended Sutherland High School and moved quite frequently until she moved to Ogallala, where she built her family and raised her kids. She then moved to Paxton for her kids to finish their high school career, and then finally moved to Grand Island. Kandi cared for her kids and her family deeply. She enjoyed spending her time outside, gardening, being at the lake, fishing, cooking for her children, crafting, and working in her flower beds. Kandi lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment she had with family and friends. Kandi was cared for deeply by those who knew her and loved her most.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; Monte Kramer; Gilbert McDaniel; and 1 sister, Patsy Kramer.

Kandi is survived by her 4 children; Kolton Carlyle, of Paxton; Kaylie Carlyle, of Kearney; Jackie Jeffers of Mancos, Colorado; Jason Jeffers of Panhandle, Texas; step-father Kent Allen, of Ovid, Colorado; 2 brothers, Mike (Kathy) Kramer, of Paxton; Steve (Misty) McDaniel; 1 sister, Becky Kramer, all of Ogallala; sister-in-law, Gail Kramer, of Lexington; step-sister, Tasha (Tad) Mendez, of Omaha; 11 nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and nephews. 

The family chose cremation. Services will be held at a later date.
