Sheila A Fleming-Kraft

Sheila A. Fleming-Kraft, 61 of Cheyenne Wyoming passed away Wednesday August 16, 2023 at the Davis Hospice Center after battling cancer. The Kraft Family is in charge of the arrangements.

Sheila was born February 18, 1962 at Ogallala Nebraska to Ernest Fleming and Dorothy (Cross) Fleming. She attended school in Ogallala Nebraska as well as receiving her Associates degree at Hamilton College in Des Moines Iowa for Applied Science accounting specialist.

On May 25, 1981 Sheila gave birth to her first son Charles. A year later she gave birth to her second son Carl Dean. Having two boys so close together was a task for Sheila but she always managed so well. She loved being a mom so much that she gave birth to her third child Sally Ann but that birth was short lived as she went to be with the angels but was never forgotten. Two years later her third son John was born. Sheila was forever chasing those three boys in everything that they did.

Sheila was a social butterfly everywhere she went ranging from work to social events to rodeos. She was always up for chats, walks and spending time with her family including nieces and nephews. Sheila loved all the kids in her family like they were her own.

Sheila’s face would light up when she would receive an owl figurine of some sort as that was her favorite collector item. Oh, and her obsession with the Nebraska Cornhusker Football game. Sheila always made it known where ever she went that she was proud to be from Ogallala Nebraska!!

Sheila became a grandma to 13 grandchildren that she adored so much. Those kids brought her so much joy every single day and even on her darkest days.

Sheila is survived by her sons Charles Kraft of Cheyenne Wyoming, Carl Dean (Rebekha) Kraft of Cheyenne Wyoming, and John (Amber) Kraft of Enid Oklahoma. Her brothers Marvin (Janice) Fleming of Colorado, Dennis Fleming of Nebraska, Charles (Denise) Fleming of Texas, and sister Carolyn Fleming Koch of North Platte Nebraska as well as 14 grandchildren: Haley, Jordon, Justin, Caleb, Jacob, Lily, Andrew, Dustin, Sabrina, Dominic, Janelle, Maciah, Brock, Jade. Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Sally Ann Kraft at infancy, her father Ernest Fleming, and mother Dorothy Fleming.

Memorial services will be on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the New Life Church in Ogallala Nebraska with Pastor Wes Harmon officiating. Interment of cremains will be at the Ogallala Cemetery in Ogallala Nebraska.

Kraft family is in charge of arrangements.
