It has been years since I've been in the lives of the Chadas - back in the late 70s. Betty was such a fun, happy lady. Her sense of humor and wit always made me laugh. What a wonderful women, many special memories of Betty at Vacation Bible school, Sewing Club, and every time I saw her in the area. Jim and i were just talking about Betty and all she did for the scouting program in Brule. Betty will be missed by many especially the Rhoades family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Betty was a great lady, and I enjoy being her "daughter" for the mother daughter things at her church since her boys were not able. Betty was another mother to myself and many more of the youth that grew up with her kids, and will be missed by many. Myron and I enjoyed Betty's love of her family. She found such joy planning Mark and Amanda's wedding shower with her friends in Brûlée, and also their wedding. Over the years she joined us for various family occasions. She had a skillful hand with crafts and stitching beautiful items for the home. There is a special place in heaven for women like her who worked hard, loved with all her heart, and made a good home for her family. Blessed be her memory.
