We are so very sadden to hear of Kandie's passing. Our sympathy and prayers are with you all. We love Kandie and her family. When we heard of her passing we sat and told stories of when we lived in Nebraska about Kandie and her family. She was a wonderful person and will deeply be missed.

Kandie( or as I knew you so many years ago, Mrs. Lewis), You were my elementary school P.E. teacher. You were energetic, fun, kind, and inspiring. I enjoyed all the games and activities and I especially remember your kindness and smile. You may have been the spark that eventually sent me into education myself. When I was little, we went to the rodeo. You told us that your husband was the rodeo clown and I always watched for him. Later, you lived across the street from my Grandma, Helen. I want you to know that I am sending you, Gary, and all of your family thoughts of love and kindness just as you so often did. Thank you for all you did for all of your students. May you be embraced in that love and kindness now.

I am so very saddened by Kandie's death. In High School we were sort of one big family and she was one of the cute little sisters. You are all in my heart at this time. Her pain is over, but yours will remain the rest of you lives. Love to all of you.
