Marilyn was a new friend to me and I liked her very much. We met at the Lemoyne Senior Center and sat at the same table. She was witty, sharp, and could be counted on to have some pithy comments on what the world was doing, in our small neck of the woods .She knew I was dealing with the new loss of my husband and some days were good and some were not good. She was very familiar with those kind of days. She coped with a lot in her life. All of us that knew her knew she walked to a different drum, and that's what I really liked about her. I'm very sorry to lose a new friend and can't believe we won't pass the salt and pepper ever again. I will miss her.
